Why go on such a trip? John Wesley was the catalyst for one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in history. Beginning in 1738 and 1739, the revival eventually went global. There are likely as many as 750 denominations that point to Wesley as a foundation stone. And it came in an extremely dark and foreboding period in England’s history. England was turned by the revival. Could America be turned now? Allow your faith to be stirred.

You will also see the “New Room” in Bristol, England, from which the fires of revival jumped the Atlantic Ocean and came to America in 1771 through the influence of Francis Asbury. This was the Great Awakening.
