I want to invite you to go to England with us for a nine-day John Wesley Spiritual Heritage Tour, from Saturday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 14, 2024. We – Jim and Rosemary – are hosting this tour, along with an optional add-on “pre-tour” for four days to Ireland, Tuesday, October 1 to Saturday, October 5. You will see so many of the spectacular sights of the massive revival that swept through England in the 1700s as a result of the ministry of John Wesley and his brother Charles.

You will see the English countryside of Coventry, the Cathedral, and the charred ruins of the old cathedral standing side by side as a tribute to the indomitable spirit of the British people. On to Epworth, the childhood home of John and Charles Wesley, St. Andrews Church, Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, William Shakespeare’s birthplace, where he also courted his wife, Anne Hathaway, and Holy Trinity Church, where he is buried. Oxford is next, where you will see Christ Church College at Oxford University, the ancient port city of Bristol, the “New Room,” which is the oldest Methodist building in the world, Charles Wesley's home, the spa town of Bath, with its famous warm waters, along with many other cities.

• Approximate cost: $4,100/person (double occupancy; if you want hotel rooms alone, add $900)
• This includes airfare from New York City, all breakfasts throughout the trip. In addition, it includes all dinners except in London, where people will eat where they desire.
• First payment would be due: June 18
• Second / final payment: July 19
