I Failed To Tell You What My Big Prayer Request Actually Was

About a week ago, I titled a newsletter to you with these words: "A Very BIG Prayer Request to Share With You. Will you pray with me?" Well, my Facebook post with the same title told the story well. But for some reason, when the newsletter went out, it was missing several key paragraphs. It only told about my book, not about the prayer request.

So here is the deal...

Here is my HUGE FAITH-SIZED PRAYER REQUEST. I have asked God for a BIG request. I have asked Him to use my brand new book “ReVERSED: From Culturally Woke to Biblically Awake,” which gives the Scriptural foundation to nearly 60 political topics, to – and here is the big prayer request – actually “move the needle” just a bit in the upcoming November election, moving people toward BIBLICAL thinking and voting. Will you pray with me that people take Jesus and biblical thinking into the voting booth?

Here is a little background. In 2016, a nurse from Phoenix emailed or texted me and said that she sure would not vote for Hillary, but she wasn’t too happy to vote for Trump either. I wrote back to her 18 numbered short paragraphs of why people should vote for Trump. It jumped to 12,000 shares almost immediately. When Steve Strang saw it, he posted it and it jumped to 4.1 million shares. Trump heard about it. He thanked me via a phone call. I ended up on the Trump Faith Advisory Board.

When Steve Strang later wrote three books on Donald Trump, one was about the election. He listed the Top 50 things that helped get Trump elected in 2016. He listed my little FB post as one of them. I have no way of knowing if my post made that much difference, but I am asking God that my new book impact enough people to get them to "think biblically" as they approach the election, and to "take Jesus with them into the voting booth."

Is that too much to ask for? I think not. Will you pray with me for an outbreak of "biblical applicationalism" (yes, I made the word up) in the minds of American voters.
