Join Me In 9 European Countries - Part 1

I almost feel the need to apologize for using such strong language (“I really need your help”) in the subject line. I do not want to be melodramatic. But allow me to explain why I really do need your help. Please read to the end.
There is a quote I kept in front of me, on the wall, above my study desk, during much of my high school, college and graduate school days:

“To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour.” ~ Sir Winston Churchill

I suspect you have read this quote before. And I suspect you have sensed at various points in your life, quoting Churchill, “the chance to do a very special thing.” I feel I am in the epicenter of such a moment right now. I will explain. And I will explain why and how I am asking for your help.
ALBANIA... AND THEN MACEDONIA

For the last three years, a man in Albania has been trying to get me to come there to bring our message of “bringing Biblical principles of governance to government leaders… and to the people who elect them.” This past December, he flew from Albania to Brussels, Belgium to meet me, and to ask me again to come, and to please consider getting my book Well Versed, translated into Albanian. Candidly, I was not absolutely certain exactly where Albania was. I knew generally where it was, but had little understanding of the nation. And I did not even realize that Paul had preached the Gospel there. (“…so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum [Editorial note: Now called Albania] I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.” Act 15:19).
My gracious and persistent Albanian friend worked with people in Albania to get my book translated and printed. He and the team accomplished it in record time. The book officially came out in Albanian a couple days ago, a few days ahead of my arrival there.

Yet, there is more. While we were in Europe last December, we accidentally – or rather providentially – met a man from Macedonia. He said, “Come.” Thus we experienced a type of “Macedonian call.” (Acts 16:9-10, “And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us.' Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.”) In my geographic ignorance, I did not even realize that Macedonia was next to Albania. So plans came to go to Macedonia to meet with government and faith leaders.

FIVE MORE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES
But there is even more. After these trips were planned and sealed, I got a call from another European friend who I had been with in Brussels last December. (Do you recall me saying that Rosemary and I suddenly sensed that we were to go to Brussels to the European Prayer Breakfast a week or two after I was invited, at which time I thought, “No, I don’t think I will go”? Can you see how providential it was?)
My friend called and began to discuss other countries. The bottom line: We are making a trip to meet with government leaders not only in Albania and Macedonia, but in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Latvia, and Romania.
ISRAEL
To top it off, we will end the trip in Israel, with a special event in the Knesset with our good friends, Rabbi Yehuda Glick and Rabbi Tuly Weisz. We had done some joint events with them on six previous occasions, that is, Jews and Christians studying the Tanakh, the Hebrew Bible, together in the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament Building. However, this is the first such study of the Bible that we have been able to do there since Covid.

INTENSE TRIP
As you can tell, this is not a “tourist-y” trip. This is not relaxing. It is a highly focused ministry trip. This tour is intense. In fact, we have no break. Once we leave the Netherlands, it is one country after another. In some of the countries, we are only there one day. But more than this – in fact, much more important – is the fact that this a Holy Spirit ordained trip. I could not have arranged this if I tried. God opened these doors for us to meet with Members of Parliament, various current and past government officials (and hopefully some future government officials), along with faith leaders. Remember Winston Churchill’s quote that there are moments when we are figuratively tapped on the shoulder (my paraphrase) to do that for which God called us. This is that kind of moment for me.
Dr. Jim Johnson
Dr. Carolyn Johnson
TEAM MEMBERS
And if that is not enough, God opened a totally unexpected door. Dr. Jim Johnson (professor of Psychology and fiercely committed to keep Christian colleges from going “woke”) and his wife Dr. Carolyn Johnson (professor of education, who has traveled and spoken countless times in Europe, who ministers in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who was also recently at the Asbury revival), from San Diego, are traveling with us, the funds for their travel coming from charitable giving to their ministries. This is a stunning and God given gift to us. We need them. This is so helpful. They know Albania (and some of the other countries) very well, having traveled Europe extensively.
PANAMA
In addition, last week we were part of a small delegation with Mario Bramnick on a trip to Panama. At some point, I need to tell you about that trip. We did have some time with the Minister of Education for the Republic of Panama who graciously received my book Well Versed. In addition, we were with one governmental official who assured me he would give the Spanish version of my book Well Versed to the President. We had a very special time with pastors and faith leaders, and a wonderful evening with Jewish leaders.
We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to speak at some events there.

REGENT UNIVERSITY AND CNP
The days prior, I had the privilege of speaking in Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia and then attending the Council on National Policy in Miami.

THE ASBURY REVIVAL
Most importantly, we had two days free, so we flew on Sunday to Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky to be part of the Asbury Revival, flying back home on Monday. We got to bask in The Presence of the Lord for nine hours. It was indescribable. I will write more about that later. In the meantime, check out the reports here: https://www.wellversedworld.org/asbury-revival-2023

 NEEDING HELP
But you remember I asked for your help. I REALLY NEED PRAYER COVERING FOR THIS EUROPE TRIP. There is so much that will go right, yet so much that could go wrong. I NEED YOUR PRAYER.

And it is no surprise to you, that we really need financial support. It is obvious to you that this is not a pleasure trip. We need funding. It is costly. May I ask you for the largest donation you have ever made to Well Versed. This is the biggest opportunity we have every had.

Originally we were focused on taking our message of “bringing Biblical principle of governance.” But after giving leadership to the NATIONAL GATHERING FOR PRAYER AND REPENTANCE in Washington, DC on February 1st at the Museum of the Bible, and after being at the ASBURY REVIVAL, I feel we are to “carry the message of repentance to the nations” that God is taking us to.

Will you
join the Europe Team and give the largest amount you can for this cause? Our world is on fire. Our world needs Jesus. Will you partner with us? Now? Thank you so much.

I count it a privilege to be praying behind the scenes concerning what God is orchestrating in such amazing ways in Europe this coming week and beyond. I also have an amazing story about Albania to share with you. God has been working to prepare the way for your trip for a long time.

Praying our Lord’s mighty hedge of protection around and Holy Spirit’s anointing on you and your team throughout this God-ordained, “such a time as this” journey! May the Outpouring continue!

My husband Marc and I are praying. We are part of a mission-minded fellowship, one couple in our life group who goes into Prague often. We and our life group are praying! May all needs be met - body, soul, spirit, and financially.

You and your ministry have been consistently on my prayers since the beginning. Very grateful for specifics. Please continue to keep posted.

Gods presence peace and safety under His wings.
