After we hear some “on-the-ground” reports regarding Ian, we will then respectfully shift to what is happening in 36 days in Florida (that is, the elections, although all of us wonder how they will be able to do that). We are focused for eight Sundays on eight key states. They are called battleground states on purpose. Battlegrounds host battles. What are these battles? They are battles for righteousness, for holiness, for Biblical (as opposed to “social”) justice, and for truth (in an age of misinformation and disinformation).
