King Abdullah II of Jordan is by far America’s best & closest Sunni Arab ally in the Middle East. Pray for his protection. As a moderate Muslim, he (along with President al-Sisi in Egypt) is the best weapon against radicalized & terroristic Islam.  Our meeting with him today was one of the most engaging of our Jordan meetings.

He was to become king, but at the last minute his brother Abdullah I changed his mind and installed his son – Abdullah II – as the king.
