What If YOU Are Censored?

Have you been censored by Facebook, Twitter or one of the Big Tech giants. If you have been, wear it as a badge of honor, as you are in good company, with the President of the United States!

I was censored. Facebook recently shut my account down for 24 hours. They said I was spreading misinformation. What did I say? I posted that Facebook was shutting down the accounts of conservatives. So how did they respond? They shut down the account of a conservative, in this case me, for 24 hours! Do you see the irony of that? Stunning, correct?

I am an advocate for “small government,” for government keeping their hands off of businesses, for less regulations, not more. However, when a company (or small cluster of companies) becomes more powerful than the government itself, it is time to break up the monopoly into less powerful companies. But with Big Tech, government has not done that. Facebook, Google, Twitter and Apple control us. REALLY control us. And know almost EVERYTHING about us.

And they hear us. If you say, “My back hurts,” suddenly on your cell phone, ads for chiropractors show up. Scary, yes? One time I was talking to friends and made the statement, “I am not sure whether I should get a Mac computer or a PC computer." My cell phone (via Siri, although I had not touched it) said out loud, “Mac is better.” We all stared at each other in disbelief.
So, what if you are censored – like President Trump was – or banned for life? When that happens, what are you options? Dran Reese and “The 2020 Plan” have created an exhaustive chart with media alternatives for you to go to before the really big companies shut you down. Hopefully these new smaller platforms will not shut you down.

I admit, the is chart is laborious and hard to read. But it might…might…just might become a lifesaver to you. (The wonderful people who put this chart together apologized for making the print so small, but they were packing so much important information into this document. To enlarge the PDF online, scroll to the bottom and there should be a + and - sign. Click on either to enlarge or shrink. Then use your curser to drag it back and forth to read right to left/top to bottom. You can also print this off by scrolling to the bottom of the screen and clicking "download PDF.")

I admit, this list is not only exhaustive, it is … exhausting! But it is important. And by switching to one of these alternative digital platforms, you might avoid losing communication with those you care about. CLICK HERE to see the list of alternatives to the standard ones such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

I pray this list is helpful.
