There are 11 extremely important points you need to know:
- In order to avoid registration challenges or delays, we recommend arriving at 6:15am.
- Due to space limitations, we have had decline extending invitations to many who have requested them. We sincerely apologize for that. If you receive an invitation to attend, it is imperative that you to respond to the invitation within five calendar days. If we do not hear from you in five calendar days, we will assume that you are not able to come, and this seat will be given to another person.
- This is a prayer meeting. The purpose is not to meet members of Congress or others. During the hours of the event, we ask that a decorum of reverence be maintained. The reason we must write this is that in some of our past events, persons – mainly internationals – have come to the event, and then left when members of Congress left. Other persons came only to meet Speaker Mike Johnson and others, and insisted on coming backstage to take pictures with them. Picture taking with members of Congress or others is fine after the event is over, but not before or during the prayer meeting.
- For legal purposes, and since we have persons from many countries, we need to cover the following: The NGPR wants to be fully compliant with U.S. Federal Law. By coming to the NGPR, one must agree to the following: “I hereby represent and warrant that my participation in this event is lawful and permitted under all applicable U.S. laws and regulations. I certify that I am not acting on behalf of, nor funded by, any foreign government or entity required to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). I further affirm that I am not subject to U.S. sanctions, restrictions, or prohibitions that would prevent lawful participation.” If you are able to affirm that, you are welcome to attend. However, if you are in any way acting on behalf of, or funded by, any foreign government or entity, out of compliance with U.S. Federal Laws, do not attend.
- The National Gathering for Prayer and Repentance is not acting on behalf of any nation, America, Israel, or any other nation, nor on behalf of President Donald Trump, or any other leader, foreign or domestic. We are acting only on behalf of our Savior and Lord, Jesus, Christ, and on behalf of the Word of God. We are gathering, as our name suggests, for prayer and repentance, not for advocacy for any nation, except in prayer. We pray God’s blessings, protection and alignment with the Word of God, on all nations.
- As noted above, some people left as soon as Congress members left. If you accept our invitation, you are agreeing to stay until the very end, approximately 10:30am or possibly 11am. If you have any plans of leaving before the ending of the program, please refuse our invitation to come, so that others may come and participate in the full time (likely four hours) of sharing, prayer and repentance.
- The ticket cost for attending is $249. Candidly, if we could, we would charge nothing. Even with tickets sales, that only covers one-fourth of our costs. We are having to raise the rest from gracious donors. If it were not for the generosity of the donors, the cost for a ticket would have been $1,000.
- Due to space limitations and security requirements, this invitation is non-transferable, and we kindly ask that it not be forwarded. Thank you for honoring this request. To assure that it is not transferred, each person will need to have a government issued, photo ID. For security purposes, this is mandatory.
- As in previous years, this is not a breakfast. The gathering is devoted specifically to prayer, repentance, worship, and—this year—expressions of gratitude for the good God has done in our nation and throughout the world.
- This invitation is for one person only. If you requested an invitation for your spouse, please have them look in their inbox for their own official invitation as well.
- Come to the event “prayed up.” We are coming before a holy and righteous God. Therefore, please come in the spirit of reverence and repentance.
